The Crew Midlayer Jacket just got better. This classic, cult-favorite jacket now features some improvements, but don’t be afraid as the iconic look remains clear: it’s The Crew. The updated logo design is a little more subtle, but clearly Helly Hansen. A new zipper stands up to deterioration for more durability and a sleeker look. Based on feedback from professional sailors, we’ve removed the plastic placard in the back yoke, but retained the hangar loop. We’ve adjusted the pocket placement and added PrimaLoft insulation at the shoulders for a smoother and warmer feel, even when the rain comes down. The all-purpose Crew is fully waterproof/breathable, windproof and warm, thanks to its HELLY TECH Protection technology – plus fleece lining. We enhanced it with smart sailing features: sealed seams, a high fleece-lined collar, adjustable hem and cuffs and dual zippered hand pockets and a hangar loop. A favorite with sailing teams, it features a “secret” zipper inside the jacket that makes it embroider-friendly, so your crew has its own look.

We built the Men’s Crew Hooded Sailing Jacket 2.0 with HELLY TECH Protection so that it is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. Our refined design allows for greater freedom of movement with articulated elbows and shoulders. The hood offers another layer of protection from the elements and is packable in the collar when you don’t need it. Other features include a center front YKK Vislon zipper built to withstand corrosion from saltwater, and hand pockets aligned with the jacket seam for an organized look.

We’ve spent years refining the Men’s Crew Hooded Midlayer Sailing Jacket 2 to bring you a waterproof, windproof, and breathable midlayer sailing jacket built with HELLY TECH Protection. This midlayer jacket features an updated lining constructed with Polartec fleece and a polyester insulation lined with taffeta in the sleeves so it slides on and off easily. The articulated elbow and shoulder allow for greater freedom of movement. The center front YKK Vislon zipper is stronger and more saltwater resistant, so it withstands corrosion.
